Salehurst School has now achieved the Activemark for sports for the third time, rewarding our commitment to high quality physical education and a wide range of sports opportunities for all our pupils.
Healthy Schools’ Silver Award
To achieve the Silver Award, we had to complete targets based on our own health priorities which included: Emotional Health and Wellbeing, Personal Social and Health Education, Physical Activity and Healthy Eating, developing Pupil Voice and developing the School Environment. We are particularly proud of our two walking buses, running from different ends of the village, enabling children to walk to school in a controlled, safe and enjoyable way. This helps to improve the health, safety and well-being of our children and reduce the amount of traffic using our roads.
